On May 26, 2010, an Adult Milestone presentation on Drug Threats and Trends was held, presented by a representative of the State of Connecticut to understand current drug threats and trends in Connecticut. Parents and other interested parties were provided with information that will assist them in identifying possible substance use and abuse indicators; by reviewing specific drug effects, ingestion methods, types of packaging and paraphernalia used.
