On Sunday, April 18, 2010 the New Beginning Committee sponsored a Welcoming Breakfast for new members of the parish. It was a wonderful day, with over 45 new parishioners attending. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other new folk, older members, and parish staff in an informal setting. Lots of good food cooked up by the Knights of Columbus, and served by many volunteers.
Welcoming Breakfast As the poster says, "Bringing Family, Friends, and Faith Together". An opportunity to meet lots of new folk, and introduce yourself to members of the parish staff, if you haven't already.

Welcoming Breakfast Looks pretty inviting. As it should. We do our best to make our new friends and neighbors feel welcome and at home.
Welcoming Breakfast Behind the scenes in the kitchen, members of the Knights of Columbus are busy preparing the food for the breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, all made fresh.
Welcoming Breakfast Quality Control is always a thankless job. But someone has to do it. The Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus generously stepped up.
Welcoming Breakfast The members of the New Beginnings Ministry take a quick break from all the seting up to have a group shot taken.
Welcoming Breakfast Time to check everyone in. Make sure they are welcomed to the breakfast, and given a copy of the parish welcoming booklet, if they haven't received it yet.
Welcoming Breakfast Good group getting to know each other, and the members of the New Beginnings Committee. And thanks to the young volunteers who helped keep the food and drink coming.
Welcoming Breakfast Deacon Chuck was there to offer a blessing on the gathering, and to say a few words to the people at each table.
Welcoming Breakfast Father Donnelly took a well deserved break from his busy Sunday morning schedule to join us for breakfast. Then back to prepare for the 11:00 Mass.
Welcoming Breakfast Just like home, the work never seems to end. All the dishes, cups, silverware now need to be cleaned and put away.
